My fee of $800 includes the following:

  • Free Consultation
    • This is to ensure that you and your partner are completely comfortable with me as your doula and typically takes place in a mutual location.
  • Prenatal Visits (2)doula
    • These two education-focused visits ensure you feel informed about your options and confident in what to expect during labor. They are an excellent complement to prenatal classes offered by various organizations in the community.
    • We will discuss your priorities and preferences for your birth and make sure everyone present, including medical professionals, understand your desires and preferences for the birth of your baby.
    • These visits also give us the opportunity to become familiar with each other and build a strong relationship as we move towards your birth.
    • These can take place at a mutual location, in your home, or at a prenatal appointment with your care provider.
    • Additional prenatal visits can be added for $100 each.
  • Continuous Telephone and Email Support
    • I encourage you to keep in close contact with me by phone or email between our prenatal visits so that I may provide you with supplemental information and to answer questions as they arise.
    • Access to articles, resources, and my lending library throughout pregnancy
    • This support extends into the postpartum period where I can direct you to a variety of resources in the community.
  • Continuous On-call Status
    • This begins at 38 weeks of pregnancy and continues until baby is born.
  • Continuous Labor Supportdoula12
    • You will benefit from skilled use of various comfort measures which can help you feel as calm and comfortable as possible.
    • Your partner will also be supported throughout labor as the two of us will work together to ensure you are fully taken care of.
    • If breast feeding is elected, I will help you with the initial positioning and latch while in recovery.
  • PostPartum Follow up
    • One to two weeks after the birth of your baby, I will meet you at your house to follow up and answer any questions pertaining to your birth. This is a great time to ask me those little details you had forgotten while you were focused and concentrated on the birth of your baby!
